Resumen. – Se discute el estatus taxonómico de Hologaster mohelianus Quentin & Villiers, 1979 y se propone una nueva combinación, Anisogaster mohelianus (Quentin & Villiers, 1979) comb. nov. Se incluyen, una completa descripción de la especie, figuras de habitus y de la genitalia masculina y una clave para separar las especies de Anisogaster. Anisogaster mohelianus comb. nov. se cita por primera vez para Madagascar.
